Day 3 photo challenge: A photo that makes you happy : ]
There are many reasons why this photo makes me happy.
1.) It has papa and dad in it. I love that Papa is wearing his cowboy hat..and dad his coldstone sweatshirt. I loved watching them together because they are sooo alike. I loved Papa...I didn't get to know him as well as my older siblings but I always looked up to him. He was always so happy...and was always happy to see me. Everyone loved him! All of those things are the same with my dad : ] I wish I could go back and tell my Papa how much I loved him..but I'm sure he knows. I just adore and love my dad and papa : ]
2.) It's in Coldstone. I LOVED telling people my dad owned a Coldstone. Both of my parents worked so hard for that little store. Everyone thinks owning a business is a piece of cake..but my parents put so much time, worry, money, and love into it. Coldstone will always have a special place in my heart!
3.)There's a line of people there! When coldstone was busy which means my parents were happy..which means the rest of the family was happy haha!
My friend Lauren Sampson flew all the way up Spokane to take pictures of Brett and I. Brett hates taking pictures but he was somewhat of a good sport haha! They turned out sooo great and I can't wait to post them!
P.S. 23 days to the wedding!!!! ahhh!!!! SO excited!

ReplyDeleteAh! That picture makes me sooo happy and soo sad at the same time! I miss Papa so much! He and Dad always had so much to talk about, they loved to just sit and talk...so cute! They had such a special bond. Thanks for sharing this cute pic Sarah! Excited to see you soon!
