So todays photo challenge actually fits perfectly with my mood today.

Day 2: A photo of yourself a year ago

This photo is of me and my two roomates on the left Megan and then Kyrisa. We were all on the same dance team for my hair school and we were on the way to a competition. At this point I was still a confused, lost, young lady. I was still messed up over my ex..I didn't think I'd ever find love, I didn't love myself..I was just a mess! Kyrisa quickly became a best friend. She understood me, and we became like sisters. She helped me get through the darkest of times, and helped me get to the greatest of times. She was with me during Brett and I's first started friendship and on to dating! So basically a TON has changed since this picture...and I'm grateful for every bit of it!

So today was just great...Brett and I's newest favorite thing to do is listen to Christmas music and sing at the top of our lungs and dance like idiots. I ADORE christmas music...it always makes me happy..but something about brett singing it just makes me realize how cheesy most of it is. I usually just end up laughing until my stomach hurts...it's pretty grand!

Funny story: Brett likes to throw in big words every now and then and I'm always like what on earth does that mean..he explains and then says " I got a 720 on verbal on my ACT" Now I took the SAT so I don't really know how the ACT works..so I just believed him and thought very highly of him for that. Well he continues to use that little phrase with a smug look on his face for like a week. Then he admits that he really didn't..and that's not even a possible score for the ACT..bahahaha he's absurd..but I sure love him!
